About the position
Condesign are now looking for a Design Engineer to our customer in the automotive industry.
The person will be a part of Oil and Retarder systems within Driveline Powertrain Engineering. The oil system consists of several different components, both purchased and in-house designed parts. You will have frequent contacts with the customers own plants as well as suppliers. It grasps a broad technical area as you will deal with parts made from high pressure aluminum, steel plates and plastics.
Main tasks and responsibilities
• Be part of the oil system team, support, and lead own tasks cross-functionally and interact with different stakeholders, such as suppliers, purchasing and aftermarket.
• 3D modeling and drawing preparation for the components.
• Ensuring the design by general quality tools (e.g. FMEA, tolerance stack-up etc)
Qualifications
• You have a M.Sc. degree or equivalent experience.
• 3 – 5 years’ experience required within research and development, preferably within automotive and transmission development/oil system and architecture.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• You have good skills/experience to use Creo and preferable in PLM systems.
• Strong technical skills
• Result-oriented with problem solving focus and good ability to adapt constant changes.
• Communicative and good networking skills
• Structured and self-managed
