Condesign is seeking a skilled Design Engineer with documented experience and skills using Masta and Catia to join our team and client as a consultant in Gothenburg.

The role is with our client which operates within the Automotive industry, and experience from marine is meritorious.
Assignment Description:
- Design and analyze hybrid and EDU transmission systems using MASTA and CATIA , including gear and transmission simulations to evaluate durability, NVH, and efficiency.
- Define and document system and component requirements, supporting testing, troubleshooting, and implementing design changes based on results and feedback.
- Lead supplier and customer meetings to align on technical requirements, project goals, and ensure seamless integration with manufacturing and other stakeholders.
- Conduct and lead FMEA sessions with senior designer support, identifying and mitigating design risks.
- Track project development, create time plans, and ensure on-time delivery, meeting quality and cost targets.
- Provide technical updates, report progress and challenges, and contribute to design reviews.
The background we seek:
Experience & knowledge of:
- Minimum 3 years of automotive development experience, Transmission and SW MASTA
- Knowledge of product development process, requirement specification, and product documentation is advantageous.
- Fluent in English; a valid driver’s license is a plus.
General
- B.Sc. / M.Sc. Mechanical Engineering or relevant engineering field.
- Social with a positive, proactive mindset.
- Organized, capable of handling multiple tasks and fast changes.
- Excellent communicator with strong presentation skills.
- Analytical and structured with a high interest in automotive technology.
- Good knowledge in as well as experience in driving and taking ownership, develop & test.
- Good knowledge in Design, Testing, Documentation
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken, Meritos with fluency in Swedish
- Valid Swedish Driving License B
