Condesign is seeking a skilled Automation Engineer to join our team and client as a consultant in Gothenburg.
The ideal candidate shares relevant experience and skills, is a team player who communicates effectively and enjoys collaboration, as well as takes full ownership for the deliveries and continually strives to help the organisation to deliver excellent products & services to end users and costumers.
The projects in scope are the growing area of design and commissioning of vessel and harbour electrification, and with optimization of vessel drivelines.
We are looking for high theoretical understanding combined with practical experience in the domain.

You are a team player who enjoys reaching results both as team and organisation, as well as individually.
The role is with our client which operates within the Marine industry, and experience from marine is meritorious.
The background we seek:
Experience & knowledge of:
- Electronics and automation
- PLC & HMI Programming
- Simulation and test of Software prior to FAT
- Documenting software related development and testing
- Supporting commissioning process on site at ships and harbours.
- Supporting and give input to improvements and development of the products and processes
- Supporting service department with technical input for the received improvement and issue-resports
- Working with together with the colleagues from the other departments for development and testing of product solutions.
- Having close customer contacts
- Marine engineering and/or technical support
- Vessel engine control system
- Vessel and harbour electrification,
- Instrumentation configuration and commissioning
General
- MSc/BSc in Electronics, System Controls & Mechatronics, Industrial Automation or similar
- Strong understanding and experience in Electrical & Electronics
- Good knowledge in as well as experience in driving and taking ownership, develop, test, fault tracing and debugging of Electrical and electronics systems.
- Good knowledge in Design, Testing, Documentation
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken, Meritos with fluency in Swedish
- Driving License
